This deciduous shrub has an upright habit. Each of the silvery-green leaves is made up of 3 leaflets. The common name relates to the scent of the yellow flowers that are produced in summer. Cytisus battandieri is an excellent choice of plant for growing against a warm sunny wall. It is important though to give some protection against strong winds.
