Living Table centrepiece for my July wedding

Hi.
I am very inexperienced when in comes to plants so please bear with me...
I am getting married in the middle of July this year and my fiancee and I thought it'd be really nice to get a flowering plant for each table centrepiece rather than cut flowers. We would then take the plants home and plant or pot them in our garden or give them to guests to take home.
I have seen some beautiful blueish hydrangeas recently and I also saw a 'campanula addenda blue star' at the garden centre which I think would work well... Basically something pale lilac/blue/pink in colour that will be flowering at that time and live on in the garden. Also, affordability is a factor.
Can you give me some advice?
Thanks very much.
Siobhan

Hello Siobhan,

The link below might be an idea for you. If you like the idea, probably best for you to phone the company for advice on when they should be delivered. They come in 5cm pots which I don't think is too small as a gift for your guests. The penstemons also flower at the right time. I think the name of the plant will be the icing on the cake!
